  1. Ok, thanks for your patience and clarity!
Yes that is what seems to be the problem here; a 23 something fps file converted to a 25 fps file.

I have downloaded avifrate and changed the fps setting to 25, then extracted the audio as wav by 'full processing'.

I'll start the framserver later when I am not using my machine.

    Thanks again

Before you start frameserving goto video/framerate and change it from 23.976 to 25 fps, then get the wav you saved and run it through besweet gui with ntsc-pal settings, then start frameserving.

    Dont need to use avifrate.

  3. Sorry for the dumb question, but how do I run the wav file thru besweetgui?

    Thanks

  5. Ok, just looking at the site now, and in virtualdub, where you say:
choose video direct stream and frame rate and change to 23.976 (pal to ntsc) or 25.000(ntsc to pal)

err whereabaouts in VD do I find that? I have looked all over but cannot see it.
I am using VD 1.5.2 and it is an avi file I have loaded.

    Thanks

  7. Ok thanks for that reboot, I did find it eventually. doh!

johnso, I am having trouble now with the audio being out of sync with the video on the new avi I made.
Do I copy as direct stream or full processing mode, and then what can I do about the audio? It is behind the video. There is a kind of narration at the beginning of the video and it seems in tune so to speak, but the when the characters start to speak the sound is about 5/6 seconds behind.

    Thanks
