Hello, I have a Panasonic DVD recorder DMRE75VEBS.
Although it seems to be a good bit of kit, I have just found out that when I record onto Disc I am unable to play it on other standalones.
Is this a standard feature or just this machine ?
I found this out by copying a prgram from Sky Plus onto a DVD for the In laws, and sure enough no playback. So tried it on my other players and still no luck.
Is there a way of overcoming this ??
Thanks in advance
Paul

Make all your edit changes before you finalize, otherwise you are stuck with the default names of programs. Also, if you are using DVD-RAM, very few players are compatible.

I have just re-read my original post. I am not sure if it will make any difference to your answers, but to make it clear, my Panasonic recorder is a stand alone machine, not part of any PC.
Thanks
Paul
