Is Asus TV/FM 7135 a good capture card?
I live in US and i have a PAL VCR, can i use the asus card to capture it?
Asus uses philips chip.
Which chips is better Conexant CX23883 or PHILIPS SAA7135HL decorder
chips???
Which one produce better picture and sound?
Which one is more CPU intensitive?
If asus is not the best, please recommend a capture card for me.
My budget is around $60.

I know many people will argue the Conexant is the better chip. I doubt you're going to get a good mpeg-2 hardware capture card for $60 though...
The Asus you mention does not do hardware encoding.
If you have a lot of VHS transfer to do, something like the Canopus ADVC-100 would be better.
If that's way beyond your budget, try and find a card with the Conexant BT8x8 chip. Compatible with a ton of software and 3rd party support.Cheers, Jim
