I have been getting errors with Sizzle saying that the audio encoded with ffmpegx was not the correct sample rate (48 khz) and that it could cause syncing errors (which it does after I build the disk image). I get this same error whether I used the muxed file (.mpg) or the elementary streams. The audio is definitley being encoded to mpeg2 and VLC plays it fine. When I load the .ac3 back into ffmpegx (in the first 'LCD' window), it reads the file as being 48000 hz. Has anyone else had problems along these lines and if so, is there anything I can do?
Something ive noticed: Quicktime does not play the audio in playback, but it does play the video - however, I attribute this to the fact that although I have the mpeg2 component, the AC3 codec only works for AVIs; which may or may not be right.
Thanks in advance.
Note: Im posting this question in this forum mainly because I am inquiring as to any reason the audio may not be encoding correctly in ffmpegx, thanks.
Edit: Im using ffmpegx 0.0.9s and sizzle 0.5b2. Ive read elswhere that this error seems to happen in 0.5b2 so I downloaded 0.5b1. Although the error message does not appear - the audio syncing still gets screwy on the final product.
