where to buy x8 dvd-r TY with a matte top?

Most of the online stores seem to carry the T. Yudens DVD-R with the "finger prints all over" shinny Silver tops. Anyone know where to get TY with a Matte type finish?

its the finger print ones...i bought those...dont really like havin finger prints on em...im tryin to find a place that has non fringer prints ones too...

Supermediastore and meritline had some a while ago. Check them out and be sure and confirm before you order. They have a habit of not knowing what they really have. The last matte TY I got from them were just slightly less shiny than a mirror; not as bad as some optodisc crap I had a year ago, but in no way matte.

You sure you got the silver inkjet printables and not the shiny silver? I have some silver inkjet printable CD-Rs, and they don't have a fingerprint problem as they have a slightly rough printable surface.

Well, i just swung buy my local Staples and picked up a 50pc cakebox of Sony MIJ DVD+R x8 "YUDEN000T02" on sale for 20$.

Im not sure on when this sale ends, but i figured that it was worth mentioning.

You could also get a pair of fine cotton gloves (the kind used to handle lenses/film). Just about any Photo equipment store should have them.

Although, this won't help if it is other people that are leaving their prints.
