    trying to encode mpeg1 with tmpgenc and it won't read the audio, and neither will virtuall dub (tried to convert audio). had win98 and it worked fine using win2k and it is fucked. i have installed ever codec i can think of....from divx to smr...wtf HELP!!!!!!

    Did you try saving the audio to a .wav with Virtual Dub? Or is that what you meant when you siad Virtual Dub won't read the audio?
