  1. Hey everybody!

i'm trying to animate a video clip on a menu in Adobe Encore 1.5. I've tried everything (found a tutorial from Adobe, and a couple of tutorials on the internet), but nothing seems to work! If anyone has any idea's I would be most appreciative.

    thanks

is this like an animated scene selection (motion menu) or an animated pointer effect ?

Motion menus need to have the video embeded. A motion pointer effect requires switched menus.

Can you give a better decsription of what you are trying to achieve ?

  3. okay...i've created a menu in photoshop with video thumbnail buttons...i've looked around the internet and all the tutorials i've found have said when u design the menu in photoshop you have to put a (+) in the layer set description and a (%) in the layer properties...so i've done this...i then imported the menu from photoshop into encore dvd...i've linked the video to the button...but it still doesn't work...and that's pretty much everything....

  4. Delete everything from menu and left only the animated button.
Save menu as photoshop file from encore and Ziped to zip file.

Upload zip file to the this forum, Max file size is 2 MB (READ INSTRUCTION HOW TO UPLOAD, FROM BOTTOM OF REPLAY PAGE!)

And I download the file and take look on the photoshop file.
    Only if you want.

  6. The Photoshop file ok, and animated button working.

Create Photoshop menu with animated button one thing,

to configure Encore work with animated button another thing.

Don't forget to render out your animated video in the button. It's the same with motion buttons. You asign a piece of video to the button and let it loop for a given time but it needs to be rendered first.
