Pinnacle freezing from AVI's clipped in VdubMod

I captured a 1 hr video just fine. I used VdunMod to cut it into sections I wanted. I try to open those sections in Pinnacle and it chokes on them. I'm not sure what Vdub did to the files that Pinnacle does not like. Because I don't know how to paste my screen print of gspot I'll explain what is different before and after I use VDub on the DV files.

In the gspot section "comments/metadate I had nothing, now the files say the following. (all else appears to have not changed from the original captured file.)

ISFT Software VdubMod 1.5.1
Junk (AscII in junk chunk) Virtualdubmod build....

What IS that stuff? Do you think I can change the files to make Pinnacle happy?

oh, btw, save the "Pinnacle sucks" posts. Yea, I know that, NOW! Unfortunately I have a video project I need to finish by Wed. and it's 2/3 done using Pinnacle so I'm in big trouble if I have to start over!

Oh yea, one more question on this. With Vdub, could the "Direct stream copy" or "Full Processing" choices make a difference? I'm new to using Vdub much and I don't even know which of these settings I used!
