okay..since that both SRT files and AC3 files cannot be imported into Ulead... what are the alternatives conversions... eg. what should i turn SRT into to make it compatiable...(ulead uses txt) and what should i turn wav into??(thats smaller in size other than AC3)

seriously...Ulead workshop is relli good with editin menus...but it lacks potential in this section

  2. You should be able to import the AC3 even without the Plugin, you just wont be able preview the AC3 and it wont Convert to AC3,about the Sub there is a tool to convert them to TXT subs,Take a look in the Tools section.

What version of DVD WS are you running? 1.x, 2.x, Full, Express, Trial, etc...?

DVD WS 2.x supports DOlby Digital audio. so it should be able to bring it in (unless you have "weird" AC3 files).

But if you have a normal version (Full or Express -- but not the TRIAL), then just import a .wav file, and tell it to convert the audio to Dolby Digital -- in the EDIT step under the AUDIO tab use the "Convert to disc template" (and make sure your disc template is using DOlby Digital audio).

You can also use mpeg L2 audio -- it's fine for PAL discs, but since it is not an NTSC Standard, some NTSC DVD Players will not be able to play mpeg audio...
