Photo VCD

hi guys
can any1 help me
i have burned a couple of Photo'son cd with Nero just standard VCD
I just drag and drop the pictures and Nero accepted them
it works great i can watch it on my stand alone DVD
but now the files are in the dir SEGMENT in the cd and it's a .DAT file
how do i watch them on my computer??
and how do i convert it into a .jpg file again

When creating the CD menu in nero , there is an entry to allow storing the images in a CD directory "Pictures". Your images will be stored there in the source format.

A second choice is to watch it on the PC using a DVD program such as WinDVD.

Hold down the shift key and right ckick on the.DAT file . Open with Windows Media player. It should run fine

curious2know it's not a cd menu it's just a few pic of my holiday
i'll try windvd out but actully how do i convert it to the old format .jpg i want to send them
and tbear263 i allready tried that but it doesn't work

hmm windvd doesn't work either
and i think nobody here know how to do this
well i think it's now only playble on my dvd

VCDGear can extract .DAT from VCD back to .MPG so it may be worth a try. Not sure if it will enable you to go back to original .JPG images though.
