  1. Hi!
    I have a DivX-File with a res of 640x272!
I use TMPGEnc and used a MPEG2 Res of 640x272, too!
But when I play the MPEG2 FIle, then the Movie is stretched to Fullscreen(no black bars on top or bottom)!
Do I have to use a standart 4:3 Res for the Output-File???
But then the Picture-Quality is bad if I use the same BitRate, isn't it??
    What shall I do???

What you have to do is use 4:3 aspect ratio for the output file and set the source aspect for 1:1 VGA or 16:9 Display.
And for the picture quality. Don't go below 1150kbps for (X)VCD
And I don't try to go below 1900kbps for (X)SVCD.
    Hope this helps...
