Can someone tell me (or refer me to a guide) on how to extract the audio from a concert DVD to burn onto a PCM audio CD.
I have used DVD2AVI, but the result are always very 'dull and muddy' compared to the origional, even when I have ripped the Linier PCM audio track.
Any help would would be appreciated, including programs I should be using.
thanx,
ash

Hi!!!!111
Try to use vob to mp3 converter...
you will find it.
on doom9
http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Files/Audio/VOBtoMP3v0.7.zip -
then you can burn it with nero or another burning toool that support mp3 to audio cd burning
-
then u can download the latest
AzidLameGUI
that is a GUI for vob to mp3
http://www.doom9.org
U find all there -
Thanx MoZo...
....I would prefer to avoid encoding to MP3 first as I would be reducing my frequency range quite considerably.
Any other suggestions that don;t involve compression? -
The AZID/Lame GUI will also go straight to wav or MP2, does all your frequency conversions and boosting aswell.
