i have converted a PAL movie to NTSC format using Nero .The video comes out very good but no sound.Is there a plug in or other software to enable the audio.Thanks for all your help

what is your source?
are you using nerovision express? or just nero burning rom(vcd,svcd)?
Or try use another all-in-one tool like diko it supports pal to ntsc. -
...or try using "discrete" applications for each step in the process from PAL ??? to NTSC DVD - That way, the audio problem will be evident much earlier in the process than when you put the shiny disc in the player...

thanks for your advuce.I am using nero vision express 2.I just copied the files into nero and let it do its stuff but no audio.The video was perfect and playen on my TV no sound

What "files"? You got to give more details, a GSpot screen shot's best.

I copied the files from the video_ts folder that i extracted from my dvd and loaded them into nero

You've already given some info - it's PAL DVD to NTSC DVD, right?

Thanks for all your help forum.I finaly solved this problem simply.I inserted my dvd into my d drive and copied the VTS_Video then pasted it to my desktop.Then i opened up DVD SAnta and clicked add video files and checked ntsc and it did the converting on its own.I was really surprised at the results.It was amazing so I did 2 other back up of PAL movies.The audio was perfect and thw movie quality was ok. hbunni
