Hi,
My LVW5005 records mpeg audio, and I was wondering if I am missing something in the menu setup to record Dolby Digital (AC3).
Do othe LiteOn DVD Recorders use mpeg audio also? Or are some models recording Dolby Digital?
My only concern is if I gave my NTSC recorded dvd to someone that their NTSC DVD Player couldn't playback the mpeg audio...
Thanks

MPEG audio only on the 5005. Should not be a problem for most NTSC DVD players as they generally have a MPEG audio decoder in the same chipset as the MPEG video decoder. Plus, MPEG audio is DVD compliant everywhere in the world... except North America NTSC land.

That's my concern -- giving it to someone with an NTSC DVD Player that doesn't support mpeg audioGeorge
