    My DVD's won't play, can anybody help?



    Do I need the right adapter for the hole in the middle? I get no picture, and the only sound I get is "Thwip... thwip... thwip..." Something's wrong, I need help.

    Can't do it, doesn't have 78RPM (I don't have any 78's anyway).

    I think I found your problem, that early model DVD player has issues with some pressed disk on the layer switch, also you dvd is in upside down.

    You need to turn the disc the other way up. The label side contains no data.

    Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh... you're right! 8) I got it playing and actually got a picture now. Kinda weird tho, it's like a swirling rainbow and then I see bugs crawling up the walls. Oh wait, it faded out again. WTF is going on...
