is it possible to record you singing to a song through your mic and playing a song through musicmatch at the same time through sound recorder?

As long as your soundcard supports multiple audio streams, I don't see why not, tho you'd be better off with some better recording software, try Audacity. It's free and is a drastic improvement over what you're using.
