Track skipping on TMPGEnc DVD Author menu

I have just burned a six episode tv series onto DVD-R with each episode listed on the Menu screen.

When watching on my televison, I obviously scroll up to select an episode; but one of the episodes (2) is skipped when scrolling up/down the list.

Is there an issue with TMPGEnc DVD Author, or does someone know of any reason why this is happening?

The menu wasn't linked correctly. You might be able to fix it using something like PGCEdit.

A bit daunting, however...

... I have just noticed that the version of TDA that I am running is 1.5.15.49 and there has been an upgrade since then.

I am going to upgrade to 1.5.26.73 and will report back if this has made any difference.

Nope, that didn't help.

Does anyone know if upgrading to version 1.6 would have improvement on this problem?

I can't recall having this issue before.

The odd thing is, if I play the DVD using PowerDVD there is no problem with the link, only when I play this in a standalone DVD player.

1.6 allows dual layer burning, that's the only difference.
