    After the upgrade i've downloaded and installed (self-installer) the updated components but ffmpegX is still asking me to upgrade the outdated components everytime i start the application.

    What i'm missing?

    Actually i've bypassed the problem installing (manually via CLI) the updated mplayer/mencoder files form the zip archive in: "/Library/Application Support/ffmpegX"
