    Anyone have this player? It goes for $60 and it plays Divx, mp3, WMA and other formats. I want to buy a Divx player and I don't know if this is better than the Philips 642. It's not even in the DVD player's list in this site. Maybe is a new unit. Thanks.

    I bought one and i was able to play a dvd-r that i recorded and was able to watch some avi files that I put on a cd. I wonder if their is a menu to make it vcr friendly.
