    Part I:
I have a video in WMV format that I have sucessfully converted to DVD format using WinAVI, however there is one small part where the audio and video miss their sync. Is there another utility that might do this better?

    PartII:
When I have this video just the way I want it, what tool can I use to author my own DVD with menus and WITHOUT reformatting the viewing ratio? I just want this video to be recorded to a DVD in its exact state with no modification to the proportions. Is this possible? I have tried Nero Ultra but have failed to see any way to keep the video in its initail size.

    THANKS !

Part III: If your Audio is out of sync with the Video then it wasn't sucessful wouldn't you agree?

Part IV: What did the audio portion of the video start out as and was was it converted too?

Part V: If you ever get the file correct try using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. You can try it out for free.

It was mostly sucessful, there is a part in the origional WMV movie where a drumb beat syncs with a graphic that lasts for 2 frames. It goes *TAP* *TAP*. That is the only part that is out of sync. So it has been mostly sucessful, but not 100%

Thanks for the advice, I will try TMPGEnc

If it is in sync for everything else (which is very unlikely) then you need to demux the audio, change just the section then remux. If it is AC3, you eed to get it back to mono wav files before editing.

I assume that the file that has been output is DVD compliant ? If so, tmpgenc DVD author (or just about any authoring software, for that matter) will take it.
