Are there any companies out there that can put video on a real dvd instead of burining them to dvd-r? I guessing no but thought I would ask just in case. Would be nice to have a dvd that can play on all players. Thanks!

Thanks for the link but I wouldn't need that many. From my search it seems most do it in bulk. It would be nice to find a company who doe it for the home video user. But that link will come in handy later for when i need it. Thanks again!

canadateck, that's a interesting company. $4.00US for a DVD9 bulk packed in lots of 250, including mastering and stamping is a bargain. With the mastering and stamping setup costs, I doubt many places this side of Taiwan are much cheaper.

In smaller quantities, the master cost is what matters, so if you do 1 or 250 won't affect the total cost that much. I don't think they will have any problem stomping out just one copy for you, but it'll cost you the same. The "home video user" is limited to writable DVD media.Originally Posted by J. Baker

That's what I figured. Maybe a company will offer this down the road someday, or not.Originally Posted by mats.hogberg
