  1. Is it possible to burn a DVD-R with a CD burner? I have an authoring kit and blank DVD-R's. All my files are MPEG-2's. If it is possible, will there be any restrictions, (ie. will not play on all DVD's?)
    Thanks

    Sorry.

CD-RW writters cannot write DVDs. They simply don't have the laser needed to read the media nor r their laser's able to make the smaller pits.

However, DVD writters can write CDs

  4. Gee, Kdiddy. Thanks for your insightful and extremely helpful comment. Judging by the structure of your response, I'd venture to say that not all of us are the super computer whizzes that you seem to be. I'm sorry for wasting your valuable time with such an obviously idiotic question.
