how to repair video_ts.ifo and video_ts.bup?

Hi how do i repair the above files so that the disc autoplays in a standalone player.

Through trial and error I know this is where the problem is, as i've imported working files from a different dvd movie. and it starts playing for 20 seconds before locking up because obviously the disc structure is different.

by the way on my yamada 6100 it says disc error upon insertion of the disc. but if i press menu i can then proceed to watch the disc. but it wont play at all on my other two players and i've lent it to a few friends with the same result..

If you've just got the one title (main movie), then IFOEdit and the "Create New IFOs" button should be able to help you out.

Thanks jimmalenko i never knew that. so thats something learnt today.

However this is disc five of a tv series with 4 episodes. so my names mud with all my mates.
