Yesterday I was createing a dvd. I looked at the log, but I wasn't really sure that it was finished.

Mabye you could make it more clear that the complete proces is finished. Maybe it could be in bold. Now the last line is not bold..

Yes it did, but I got confused about all the done's.. Also I didn't know that Authoring DVD Folders was the latest step.

I never looked that much at the log 50 times before this..

  5. Gotta add my vote to being confused by the myriad, unsynchronized "done" indications. Usually the "analog" indicator at the bottom indicates <100% no matter how long I wait. I am also confused by the last text message - how about a message that says, in unambiguous, clear words,, "Totally done, go ahead and play it on your PC or burn it, S2D has finished" I have come to believe that the pop-up is the one true and final word, but if I don't see it's fleeting appearance I am not sure, especially since the "analog" meter at the bottom still shows <100%.

Suggestions: Leave the "done" pop-up showing until X-ed out. Play a cool and loud sound upon popping up. When S2D knows it is truly done, force the progress analog meter to show 100%.

    TIA, QE

How about flashing the screen several times like a strobe light, accompanied by the sounds of crashing cymbals, and then show an animation of a naked lady jumping out of a cake while coloured streamers drift down the screen? Cycle through this repeatedly until the user acknowledges it by clicking on a target that randomly moves around the screen.
