hi there,
i have a weird problem.
i recently purchased a Satellite receiver (Manhattan PLAZA ST300) - i have used its S-Video out option directly into my DVD recorder.
when i watch it, i can see faint verticle lines all the way across the screen, its very noticeable if the screen brightness on the TV is up.
i havent tried an RGB out direct to TV yet as i dont have enough scart ins, on my DVD recorder (panasonic e50) so i thought my best bet would be S-Video out.
could it be a cheap cable getting interference?
any advice would be great.
many thanks!!!

I've seen this before, and it seems to be caused by the S-Video output or cable (I didn't trouble shoot - just changed from S-Video to RGB).
A better cable may be the fix.Google is your Friend -
Bad shield or contact on the cable
