  1. ok...i'm reposting cuz last one didn't get must attention.....

i ripped Bridget Jones's Diary using both smartripper and dvddecryptor and both had the same results....

i'm trying to add subtitles to the movie and came up with an error..i talked to the guy who wrote vobsub (smart guy btw) and he told me that (smartripper, dvddecryptor) didn't quite remove all the multi-angles even though i've enabled multi-angle processing in both ripping proggies...that's wut's causing vobsub to screw up when adding subs..so...

i'm just wondering if anyone watched a ripped version of the movie and can confirm that dvddecrptor and/or smartripper can completely remove multi-angles from this movie (should i use cladDVD???)???

  6. o...i actually haven't encoded it yet because i couldn't add the subs...however, i had the writer of vobsub take a look at my .idx file and he said some of the vob id's were repeating, which meant that there are repeating loops in the movie...

  7. Interesting, I haven't seen any repeating, i'll check the movie again to see if I accidently missed any (movie is so boring!).

  10. basically, i add subs to rips using vdub/vobsub method...and the first time this screwed up....

after vob sub finished indexing the vobs, it gave me an error msg saying unable to parse index (.idx file i assume) line 118 reindexing...and this continues till infinity...basically the author of vobsub told me it's cuz the vobs have multi-angle somewhere in them..but i used both smartripper and dvddreyptor w/ multi-angle processing enabled and both gave same results.....should i try cladDVD?...however, i've had probs with cladDVD before when ripping movies with multi-angles (i.e. T2 ultimate edition)..but i guess i have no choice....

  11. Since you want subs, why don't you just use DVDx or FlaskMPEG ?
