I used my "A" drive (3.5 floppy) for the first time and now when I shut down my computer, it tries to access the "A" drive. It didn't do this before, and it's a little annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it's your OS checking to see if there's a non-system disk in the drive before booting since most BIOS set first boot as A drive. Even changing your boot order in BIOS doesn't fix this IIRC. All it does is growl quick before shutdown, right? Nothing to worry about really.

Yeah, I wasn't really worried. Just annoyed.

Never considered using google, for whatever reasons I thought my problem was unique only to me. Thanks for the links, I'll look them over to see if any of their solutions work for me.

That appears to be the reason (or one of the reasons) why my "A" drive is being accessed.
