I've been trying to make Video Music DvD using DVD-Lab Pro. I wanted to use as few VTS as possible so I chose to make the audio streams all AC3. My problem is when I convert the demuxed PCM wav to AC3 and insert it into DVLP, it inserts OK but when the project is compiled on hard drive and played with PowerDVD all play fine except the audio on the clips with the converted wav to AC3. They do not play the audio. I've tried different frame rates but no audio. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have installed the AC3enc, AC3Machine into the BeSweet folder and used to the two tutorials I found here without any luck. I also authored the DVD with several VTS and one VMG menu but could not find a way to do a "Play All" from beginning to end. I get it to play each VTS fine and return to menu but have to select another VTS menu to play a different set of videos. I wouldn't have to convert the wav to ac3 if I could find a way to play all from start to end of DVD.

  3. Try with TMPEGEnc DVD Author demo; playing through all tracks is what it does best. You can even set it up to start playing as soon as the disc is inserted. One thing, there's a short pause between tracks.

Yes Baldrick, the new ac3 file "Output.AC3" will play withe Window Media Player. It just won't play once authored with DLP and played with PowerDVD.

Thanks reboot. I'll try the second one. I think the first one you mentioned is for only one VTS.
