so got a HP laptop that automatically shuts down by itself when using DVD shrink. the laptop actually belongs to a friend of mine, i know i could use dvd decrypter but my buddy didnt know that before he did what he did so...
basically this is what happened... threw in RE2 apocolypse started ripping as normal then the time started elapsed started to get longer and longer eventually an error came up (dont know what the exact error was) then eventually the laptop shut down by itself! what gives does RE2 somehow screw up dvd shrink?
now everytime when using dvd shrink with any movie doesnt matter the title DVD shrink will throw up an error and shut the whole computer down!
uninstalling and deleting DVD shrink doesnt clear up the problem.
so thats the problem, so can anyone help?
thanx in advance.
alohaz.

Old news man!! RE2 is protected by new scheme called ARCOS or something like that. It will NOT rip as you been normally doing. As for the shut down problem???? Search on these new movies for this and how to beat it. I use the latest ANY DVD running in the BG and then rip and shrink in DVDShrink to ISO and burn with decrypter.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
The latest version of DVD decrypter will beat this, and is a better ripping tool IMO.
