    Is there any way to take the motion menus from iDVD to use in another program (such as Studio 9?)

    Depends - are they in a proprietry format, or just mpeg clips ? If you can get to the mpeg clips, then you may have to use photoshop to create new overlays. If they are in proprietry format then you are probably SOOL unless google turns up something.
