Hello all:
I have a stupid problem: I got a bi-lingual DivX (i.e., with French & English soundtracks) and I want to generate from it the French-only DivX (I have my reasons, don't ask).
I thought it was trivial: I started nandub.exe (which is virtualdub + some extras), it showed that indeed there are two audio tracks. Well, here is what I tried:
* Direct stream Copy for Video
* Direct stream Copy for the 1st Audio stream
* No Audio for the second Audio stream
* Save as AVI
I got the English version of the DivX.
Oh well I though, let me do the same manipulation, but with instead
* No audio for #1 Audio stream
* Direct stream copy for secondary
I got a mute DivX!!! The video was fine, but no sound at all.
Help! Does anyone here could help?
I don't care whether it's based on nandub or any other tool, I just need a solution.
thk by advance,
Laurent
