    I am wondering and have tried several times to set up a URL to link to video, pics on my site

    my place is gotmyowndotcom.com (no comments from the peanut gallery - it was a way to get 500M web space and more mail accounts than I need for free)

    So I have a folder under root called stuff and a video there entitled matisyahu_on_kimmell.wmv

    Can someone assist in letting me know how this is done?

    Do not have any dirs like that...

    All I did was create a few dirs for FTP usage (they are PW protected of course). Not sure how I create a dir that is open...

    Can you post a screenshot of your root dir? Mine has public_html and xxx_ftp. I have been uploading all my files to the public_html directory and they work fine.
