There are a handful of people that have gone over the line,
and what was once good fun is now simply an exercise in

Some of them are also your typical breed of Internet trolls,
the ones that refuse to drop a subject, and are often seen

Those are copies of Lordsmurfs response to a couple posts.

We ( Well, some of you, actually ) are the guilty, you grab a subject, the elite think you are wrong, they RTP and someone will shut you down, RAT NAOW, and maybe redcard, or BAN you to boot.

I can remember that the site was the same when SatStorm got to be a Mod, as it ever was. Although there was a lot of shit that he was crying that if he didn't get to be, he would leave. Well, he did get anointed, and I have not seen him here for about 6 months.

Now, we have at least 3 new Mods, and the place has gone to hell in a handbasket in just the past few months, one of them has left, most of the oldtimers post more at politick than here, and what we are left with seem to be GWB boosters, "That is unacceptable to us "born again Christians"."

The site is NOT nearly as helpful nor as interesting as it was just a few months ago.

Capmaster was not an asset. Cobra is not a great asset.

And, I am sorry to say, Lordsmurf is not a great asset, strictly speaking. as a Mod.

These 3 are probably the greatest hindrance to the ongoing of this site as a going concern.

There is no coming clean involved here. Sacajaweeda was automatically banned upon his fifth yellow card. He continued to push the boundaries of the rules, kept being warned publically and via. PM but chose to ignore it completely. Finally, he knew full well there was to be no discussion in the Reports thread but he did it anyway. He was a problem user, and the yellows did for him.

the rules need to be dished out in a completely fair manner for everyone

No they don't. We try our best to be fair, but this is a private site and if Baldrick wants rid of someone then that's it. After all, it is akin to sitting in his house chatting - it would be incredibly rude to behave in the manner that some have in public and via. PM. We are trying so hard right now to clean OT up. Capmaster tried his best to be nice, and gently nudge OT in the right direction. It ended up burning him out, because users simply would not accept order and politeness - they seemed to want this to be their personal little playground and ignore the rules and advice set out by mods. The niceness has gone now. This lot have had since August to change their ways - it is February now...

I think Cobra and LS do a good job. Couldn't have more knowledgable mod's for a video help forum either. I mean, that is what this place is. Video help. OT is cool, but it's not really meant to be a free for all, no? I'm not trying to stir anything up, but facts are facts. I come here for Video Help and occasionally BS, but if I want to be an attention whore I go bother my wife!

You give me too much credit. Lordsmurf is an extremely knowledgable guy, but I am not. I just try to keep the forums cool, clean and pleasant. I can't give back to the community in knowledge, so I try to give something back by helping with the running of VideoHelp.

As far as the rules go, leave the interpretation to us. Any issues regarding the AUP or unclear situations will be resolved by the mods or by Baldrick. We will give anyone plenty of warning before any formal action is taken, don't worry.

Now, let's stop worrying about the rules and how things have gone and let's begin building up a community we can be proud of!

Oh well, those banned can visit another forum or another website to enjoy the time!

I also suggest for those banned, play an exciting DVD movie or go out for a great good time!

Although, the rules here isn’t too bad and in some other forums the rules are worse than here.

Be thankful of that.
