    I would like to know what is the most simple software to use to extract the audio off a dvd to mp3 format or wav?

    I use XMPEG https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=XMPEG .

    It's one step. It rips it as on eaudio file. I then use an audio editor (SAW) to cut the wav into individual files. Any editor will do.
