    Just found out,if you have previously set svcd2dvd to do a 2-pass encode adn saved the setting as default, then you decide on another project to only use one pass, svcd2dvd still proceeds to do 2-passes. Even if you save the 1-pass setting as default, exit the program and try again it still does 2-passes. I had to manually change the registry entry for AVI2PASS from True to False to get 1-pass encoding working.
