  1. I put a TDK DVD-R 4.7GB disk on my Pioneer DVD-RW burner and the DVD Video project encoded, but then a widow appeared saying "Sorry, your compilation cannot be written on this disc. Please insert a disk of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make them compatible with the current disk" Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong because this Nero Express has been a mystery to me and I thought I did everthing correctly.

Yo, I get this problem too, with 6.3.1.11
With the LITEON 16X (Single layer dual fomat/Dual Layer + only drive)
I reeboot and the same materials work (Same Blank, and Project)!!
Why does this bug recur, especially if I burn again after a successful run, the second project
appeared saying "Sorry, your compilation cannot be written on this disc. Please insert a disk of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make them compatible with the current disk"
CAN ANYONE FIGGURE this one out!

  3. I even tried the "DVD UDF" mode on Nero Burning Rom and when I clicked burn, the blank DVD pops out and I get a window saying "Please insert a empty disc". I thought Roxio was the bad burning softball.

So when you reboot you can burn, or your express always has a problem?

  5. My express always has a problem. It's funny that I can burn CD's easily, but burning DVD's is alot harder to do.

  6. Does anybody if a blank 4X DVD disc is considered too slow for Nero Express therefore deeming it "Uncompatible"?

  7. Maybe it is the blank DVD because I right clicked on My Computerl, went to Device Manager and double clicked on the DVD Burner icon and it says that the burner is working properly. Anybody have any suggestions on what blank DVD's to use for Nero Express?
