  1. Hi,

I have been reading all evening of how to back up RE2. I was succesful to get the data on the HDD. However, I am not able to get the right audiofile. When I listen to the movie with the autostart from the DVD I get the correct audio of the movie. When I open the backed up VOB files with WINDVD I only get the director's comment (or something like that). I have no idea how to get the correct audio file.
Can somebody give me a hint how to get/find the right audio??
I searched the forum section for RE2 + audio, but couldn't find anything related.

    Thanks for any help.

I don't get what all the fuss is about RE2. DVDdecrypter+DVDshrink handled it fine.

At first early on there was trouble yeah, but once DVDdecrypter was updated a while back that was the end of it.

  3. I too had problems with it...Ripped fine to the HDD but DVDshrink crashed when I tried to open it and so did DVD-RB so I tried to do a manual rebuild but when I tried to ripp the seperate streams I got the video rigth but the audio was corrupted all the time. Finally I got it to work using Vobblanker and blanking all but the main movie and the menus.

Hell I used a 2 year old copy of dvd x copy express, and did it the first time through. A perfect burn.

EDIT: Just a heads up to anyone who has not yet seen this movie and is thinking of backing it up; it sucks. Not worth all the fuss.

I know I dont speak for everyone. Just like you dont either. Its called an opinion.Ever heard of it?
I love the games and neither movie holds true to any of the games. They added the characters names from the games to some people in the movie and thats as close as it gets.
How "true" can you get to a thin-plotted and a 1 dimentional video game?
COPIED OVER 600 DVDS SO FAR
