  1. I have this movie that is 29.970fps, and every 2 out of 5 frames are interlaced, others are progressive.

    So, its like this:

    I I P P P I I P P P I I P P P I I P P P

I need to re-encode this movie to mpeg2, so whats the best to do in this case?????

  2. Oh, nevermind.

This material was not IVTCed properly.

I did a IVTC on the source now, so now i have the movie on 23.976fps all progressive frames.

    Tkz anyway!

Sounds like 3:2 (2:3) pulldown from a film source. This normal if intended for TV display.
