If I have my speakers on while surfing the net there is constant static that comes out my speakers? Any ideas why this is happening. Gets annoying after 5 or 6 webpage changes.

How far up have you turned the speakers? Maybe try turning them down, or shut them off when youre online.

Is you soundcard and modem all in one, or separate boards. For me, using a modem separate from sound card helped. If you have some kind of sound control program, try using the Mic Monitor (Disconnect Modem From Speakers) option (or similar feature)

Are using Dial-Up? That stuff causes much trouble than it is worth. Maybe it's time to upgrade to broadband.

  6. Maybe try updating your sound drivers. I had funny noises through my speaker once when I moved my cordless mouse updating the drivers fixed it for me.

Even with speakers turned all the way down still get static. Using Boradband, using external modem.

    glockjs,
You're just upset that the last time your team made it to the big game, they got their asses handed to them by the lowly Bucs.......atleast my team went back to back against the Pack, and ATL with Anderson in the back field.
