    My DVD player can play VCD's, but not SVCDs. I was wondering, then, if PS2 can play SVCDs? I have yet to buy one, and I probably will get one even if it cant, but the added bonus would be nice. Thanks in advance for all your help (gulp).

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you can not play VCD or SVCD with PS2 ...you have to wait till they create a plugin for it...sorry
