    Will has anyone have this problem with Phillips DVP642. Don't know but my tray won't pop out. The cd is stuck inside it, and i have no way to pop it out. I try everything, from taking it apart, hitting it(lol). Nothing works.

    I had an Apex once that would not open - there were 2 dvd's in the tray.
    Sounds more like a dead motor in the drive.
