WTF is going on here, it must be some ******* setting on my damm router. The net works again when I reboot.

That was certainly a new style of asking a question, VCDHunter!
When that happened to me, I flushed all the history, cookies and temporary items in cache, then restarted. It worked nine times out of ten.
Then I switched to FireFox and don't need to worry about a thing any more, bar the odd page that needs Internet Exploder. -

so it's all browsers if i read correctly?
reset the router and cable modem by unplugging the power for 10 secs. check if it works.
make sure your router is ok and hasnt been taken over. you have a password and username settup right?
do the whole puter clean up thing..full virus scan. full spyware scan. reg clean and defrag your hdd.
