  1. I am looking for guides or tutorials on how to prepare the photos, images or any kind of stills in Photoshop for Video. Specifically: retouching, anti-aliases, etc. I tried to use Photoshop’s ‘.psd’ files in Premiere and After Effects, but the final video was not very good. The edges of the some stills were jagged when displayed at an angle, the text edges were also not very smooth. I'd like to use some photos and text for creating the Motion DVD menus.

    Any help is appreciated.

  5. I will check, but I think it is always checked by default for every new project.

It sounds like you're using incorrect image sizes. If the images are going to be static, use 720 x 540 (ntsc). If you're using Premiere Pro and/or AE, you can use 4000 x 4000 resolution.

If you only used 720 x 480 and used a camera view in AE, you were probably a little too close to the image and therefore saw the actual pixels that make up the image. It's better to start with a larger image and use the filters in AE or premiere pro to zoom out or resize down the image.
