  1. I have been using DVD Lab Pro, and i want to know if there is a program out there that will allow me to do the following.

Neat effects (changing menu, movie play with sound effects)
Be able to make menu's with movie backgrounds that look really eye catching.
Basically my goal is to make a professional looking DVD menu.

Iam putting all of my VHS tapes onto DVD and i want to make really nice menu's for them.

Could someone point me in the right direction.
Not to worried about money, but no DVD maestro unless someone can tell me wherei can get it from.
    Thanks

I'd say that DVDLab Pro for authoring together with Adobe Premiere and After Effects for more advanced motion menus would one way to go - it's how I do it. However, I'm sure some of the more advanced members of the forum can give other options.

Yeah this is what I do to make some menu's, But I guess he is not to clear , because I thought what he wanted was a program that uses motion menus with Music, and what not, and DVDlab can do this?

  7. If you're getting good results with a specific program, then I suggest you stick with it. I mean, it all really depends on how creative one can get. if you're good at it, good for you. If 50 people use one program and 1 person uses a different one and they are happy with that program, then why change the world?

  9. What aren't you happy about with DVDLab Pro?
Done right, there's an infinite number of possibilities. Use it in conjunction with something like DVD Menu Studio, for really spectacular stuff.
You can't beat it for the price.
