  1. i've been reading a bit and i saw people saying labeling your dvds will harm it or something, so use cd/dvd printers to print directly on to the disc....... so here is my question........... what exactly is that? is that a kind of printer that prints directly on to the cd/dvd or what???? if it is where can i find a list of those printers??? or is it simply s special kind of ink that let u print labels without harming the disc??????

Yes the Epson R200, R300 and R800 series of Printers can print on Inkjet printable CD/DVD's. If your in Europe there is a canon printer that will do the same. They use normal ink.

Do a search on the forums and you'll see lots of info.

  5. Yes, ONLY the "Non-Americas" (other than US,Canada, etc.) come equiped to print directly to CD/DVD's.
And no, the US stuff can't be made to do it. It's been tried - a LOT!

But there IS a way. I just recieved my UK iP4000 from a company called Expansys-USA, and I love it.
It seems Expansys has offices all over the world, and get stuff people can't find in there own country.

I think the iP4000 is the best value at $175 - not bad when Newegg charges $160 for the same thing WITHOUT the CD print.
They also have the Ip3000, iP4000R, and iP5000.

There is almost no compairson to the Epson.
Just read posts from those who have tried both.
Steves Digicam has a really good review of many printers, too.

    Luck!
