    HI,

i've made a DVD using DVDLabPRO which has exceeded the amount of 4.7GB.

    the DVD is 6.4GB.

This has never been a problem before as i would use DVDShrink to compress it to the correct size.

However of late evertime i make a DVD in DVDLabPRO and put it on DVDShrink it doesn't load the files, it just has an error, which says one of the .VOB files is damaged and cannot continue.

can anyone help me with this?

    Many Thanks

Will the whole video play in your PC player? You could try rebuilder, but if there really is a problem with an ifo or vob, rebuilder will not work either.

it works perfectly on the PC, i use powerDVD and it plays fine, but i can't use DVDShrink, it comes up with

"DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot contine

    invaild data in file c:\dvdvolume\video_ts\vts_01_07.vob"

  4. Have you tried to uninstall/re-install DVD Shrink? Sometimes this clears errors that i have encountered.

Have you updated your copy of DVD Lab Pro recently (or ever) ? There was a version that produces incorrectly sized VOBs (based 1GB on 1000 bytes, instead of 1024). This has been fixed with a free patch. Incorrect VIB sizes could throw Shrink off.

One final comment - you will generally get much better quality if you encode your assets to the correct size in the first place, rather than Shrinking after the fact. Just my 2 cents.
