  1. Well I had this WinTVGo TV Capture card for 2 years, and I didn't hook it up yet

Well I don't know what kinda cable wire I need to connect my VCR to my Capture Card,

Now a friend told me to ask for a composite wire, well at the audio shop he gave me this cable and it seems like its for audio and I'm confused,

On it says RCA Phono Audio Lead,

Its red and black male pins on each end,

So I don't think he gave me the right wire I needed to connect my vcr to my capture card,

Please can somebody help me out, I'm totally stupid at this,

Just wish to hook it up and start capturing.

I checked at the back of my tower for the tv capture card and it has a female slot, and a male slot,

Please don't laugh, just wish to get some help

Hope to get some response, to know what kinda cable I need and oh yeah my VCR is pretty new, I bought it a year ago,

You have audio cables only. You need an additional yellow cable (doesn't have to yellow, just composite) that goes from your yellow jack on your VCR to the yellow on the card, that takes care of the video.

The red and black ones go from the red and white jacks on your VCR. I see there is a audio input labled input on the card to the left of the yeloow video input on this picture. You'll need a RCA Y adpter to mini jack plug. Two female RCA jacks on one side and a male mini jack plug on the other side to plug into the the input. Plug the red and blavk cables into the adpter.

I'm not sure how this card processes sound so try it out and see what happens, regardless you should have video.
