    Im running windows xp professional corporate edition, My Dad threw the box away ages ago..what do i click to find out if i actually AM running corporate edition cos whenever i click system and stuff in control panel it just says win xp pro not corporate and im pretty sure i had corporate..Please are there any ways of finding out i got corporate edition?? name me all please on what 2 click etc..

  2. That's all it will say. If it's the Corp version, you didn't have to go online to activate it.
    Some system info tool like Everest might tell you.

    isit windows xp professional on its own that if u dont activate after 14 days it doesnt work??

    Mhmm... You do realise that corporate editions don't actually come in a box eh? It would defeat the purpose of only getting a disc or two with a license and not having to keep track of 1000 boxes and 1000 different serial #'s if every copy came in a box.

    If your dad truly did throw a box away, then it's very unlikely that you have a corporate edition.

    XP Corp is exactly that. Usually you have to be a large corp. or have a relationship with MS to get this edition of windows. Corp on a home machine is warez.

    call microsoft -- give them your serial number and they will tell you right away ... fastest method ..
