    So I returned a spindle that wouldn't burn. I'm having the same problem w/ the replacement spindle. The Nero scans of the blank discs look like this:



    Did Amazon get a bad batch? Should I contact Verbatim before I try my Amazon return this time?

    The burn halts early on...usually 3-7% in.

    That's a write transfer scan, so at the 3GB point the drive is reducing the speed to 6x; not a good sign.
