    just need some conformation on wheather my burning laser has shot it's wad, it is a matshita lfd 310 (i know it's old) tried burning yesterday with stomp 4.5,nero, dvd decrypter got about 3/4 of disc burned and got an error on all 3, reinstalled stomp and got a complete burn, ran nero scandisc surface, just an awful burn too many bad sectors

    has anyone had the same problems and just retired the burner

    ... if you can still read/write discs ... not dead.

    Clean it.. or buy better media.
